Lightweight strong alloy backplates for the MGB B Series 1800cc engines. As our A-Series timing cover backplates these are manufactured from extremely rigid "cold rolled" sheet. The backplates care then anodised in black or silver to provide a long lasting protective coating and are then fitted with clinch studs in place of 1/4 UNF threads. This ensures theres no worries about over tightening threads in a thin plate and stripping them!
