From the world leading specialists in classic Mini fuel injection we introduce the ultimate EFI kit for the Rover MPI Mini a "Drive by Wire" system bringing 21st century refinement and tuneability to the platform. Using all Bosch components for ultimate quality and reliability. We've really pushed the integration of the kit so that it appears to have rolled out of the factory this way, tough job but its worth it, the bespoke airbox and packaging really finishes off the engine bay of the MPI cars.
Some of the benefits of DBW:-
Bosch oem parts reliability, we run duel track TPS confirmation as Bosch do for safety protocol
easier calibration for idle control, cold/hot starting without additional components such as idle valves.
The throttle pedal "progression" curve can be tailored, which may be to "soften" the response of the engine or to "sharpen" the response for a more sporty feel. We have a switch available to swop on the move if required.
This kit utilises the D700 ecu (regular EFI kits use the D400 ecu) which is an extremely powerful ecu system easily capable of controlling this system.
Calibration is MAP - manifold pressure.
The D700 has an on board wideband controller which is utilised in this application - wideband sensor provided
The wiring loom is a direct "drop in" to the MPI engine bay and we run the carbon evap purge system as the original car for emissions.
