This kit enables you to run a large diameter "lash cap" on the top of regular 9/32" dia valves. The lash cap itself is a case hardened and ground EN24T part, the valve retainer is our all new 2023 design that encapsulates and supports the lash cap itself, both components are held to tiny tolerances to ensure they are the perfect fitment. made from EN24T and tuftrided. This set up will be standard issue on all 5 port iron heads from Aug 2023 onwards - adding more refinements to our already highly specified and customer regarded 5 port heads. With rocker geometry/alignment being quite variable on the A-Series and the spacing around of rockers often required, this lash cap set up increases the area the pad/roller of the rocker can act upon, reducing friction and vastly increasing guide life due to reduced side loadings from the rocker motion. Wear to the tip of the valves will be eliminated increasing the life of those parts vastly.
