After building so many MPI engines and having issues with this bolt it was time to make it properly! If you have this bolt fail when fitting the alternator
it will cause hours of time to dismantle and recover the cast mounting bracket or replacement of the cast bracket altogether- really not good! The failure will happen
at the "root" of the M8 thread through corrosion of the root of the final thread locked into the stud during the plating process - you can't see it until the stud snaps off
with very little force - our part doesn't do this, another must fit for any MPI twin point Mini also fits Japanese 1997 onwards SPI engines.
So this part is precision CNC machined in house from 316L stainless steel, won't fail and won't rust!
Comes complete with the M8/M6 nuts, finish your engine restoration off properly!
